Kehoe Myers were engaged for the Civil, Structural and Hydraulic Engineering of the refurbishment of an existing building into a commercial kitchen. These works included a site inspection to review the existing building structure and review of the available engineering documentation, design and documentation of the new building works and associated siteworks and Construction phase services including inspections and liaison with project team during construction. The civil design included general site works affected by the loading dock. The Hydraulic design consisted of the design and documentation of domestic water supply, fire water supply, sanitary plumbing and drainage and gas reticulation. Design and documentation of the footings, walls and suspended slab, strengthening of the existing suspended floor slab and alterations to the existing wall and roof structure were included in the Structural Engineering scope.

The KWA project consisted of health workers accommodation building at six sites in New South Wales including: Broken Hill Health Service: Two-story building with 20 bedrooms. Finley Hospital: Single-story building with 6 bedrooms. Leeton Health Service: Single-story building with 3 bedrooms. Narrandera Health Service: Single-story building with 3 bedrooms. West Wyalong Health Service: Single-story building with 3 bedrooms. Cooma Hospital: Two-story building with 12 bedrooms. Kehoe Myers were engaged for the Civil & Hydraulic design and documentation of the building works and associated site works as well as site phase support services throughout construction at all 6 sites. Our services included a site stormwater management plan for each site, engineering infrastructure report. The Hydraulic Engineering Services included domestic water supply and sanitary plumbing and drainage, review of fire hydrant coverage and roof drainage. The Civil Engineering services included stormwater drainage and general siteworks affected by the building works

The Stanthorpe Hospital Staff Accommodation project included upgrading 35 rooms across 2 houses, 1 portable accommodation building, and a multistorey structure. We were engaged to provide Civil, Structural, and Hydraulic design and documentation for the building works and associated siteworks. Our Civil Engineering scope involved designing and documenting siteworks for the new carpark adjoining Ludlow Lodge. Hydraulic design and documentation included domestic water supply, fire hydrant coverage, and upgrades to sanitary plumbing and drainage systems. Structurally, our scope included the design and documentation of footings, ground floor slabs, suspended floor structures, as well as wall and roof framing, including upgrades to existing elements. We are proud to be involved in addressing the urgent need for enhanced health professional accommodation facilities.

Kehoe Myers were engaged to provide Civil, Structural and Hydraulic Engineering Services for the Goondiwindi Hospital Staff Accommodation Project. This project involved refurbishing existing facilities, comprising three houses and the nurses’ quarters. Our Hydraulic engineering scope encompassed the design and documentation of domestic water supply systems, as well as sanitary plumbing and drainage infrastructure. The Structural design included crafting footings and ground floor slabs, designing suspended floor structures, wall and roof framing, along with upgrades to existing structural elements. We take pride in contributing to this vital project, addressing the pressing need for health professional accommodation facilities.
