FAQ’s
We provide Civil, Structural and Hydraulic Engineering Services Australia-wide. We have many projects interstate and are also undertaking projects internationally. Interstate work can be delivered a number of ways. We don’t necessarily need to view the site to deliver Engineering Services, however our team often fly interstate. We also have relationships with other Engineering Practices Australia-wide. Therefore, we can appoint a local Engineer to assist with any site inspections that may be required.
There is a misconception that Engineers are simply required for the compliance stages of projects. In reality, we find our clients get the most value appointing us early – even at the feasibility or inception stage of a project. We are therefore able to work closely with our clients and either their preferred Architects (for Structural Engineering) and Town Planners (for Civil Engineering) or we can assist in putting the right team together for them to deliver optimal outcomes for their projects. Assembling the right professional team early on reduces the stress, cost and time involved in the project and increases the value.
The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors has published research that Poor Engineering Services can increase a project’s construction costs in the order of 10% to 15%. Our focus is on delivering true value to clients. We consider timely delivery, construction costs, sustainability and usability with an aim to optimising the end of value of your project. Examples of this include, our expertise in land subdivisions have shown an increase in sale price for each lot ongoing; and our delivery of structural engineering services in health have shown a decrease in construction costs by up to 40%.
Our team love getting innovative with solutions. We’re leading the way in sustainable construction materials such as composite fibre technology and timber for mid-rise building construction. Composite fibre provides cost advantage due to its durability and longevity, and has a 50% less carbon footprint than steel. Timber is a cost effective and environmentally friendly construction material that also provides ongoing carbon sink benefits and health and wellbeing benefits. Contact us today if you wish to discuss the use of sustainable materials in your construction.
